My accupuncturist died... -- Written 10/6/05

It's odd, you never know where you'll take effect. My acupuncturist Av? Nagy died over the weekend of a heart attack. I saw her on Friday at Beyond Reality, and while she seemed a bit slow, she also was alive. I had seen her a few weeks earlier at Little Beach. She always seemed to be enjoying herself, always a smile on her face.

I meditated for an hour when I heard and it lifted, but here I am three days later, still thinking about it. It wasn't like we socialized, typically we just ran into each other at the same gatherings, I liked her, knew her teacher, we had some friends in common. Still, it's odd how effected I am.

Mortality I guess, death gets us to look at our own life.

Thinking about this post, perhaps I'll rename the blog, "Downers I have known". :)
